Clearwater Canvas has been in business since 1987, specializing in marine canvas and frame bending, and is a leader in the marine canvas industry. Our owner, Tom Hunter MFC, is a Master Fabric Craftsman certified by the Industrial Fabrics Association International and is a charter member and Director for the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA), a division of the IFAI, and holds a BS degree in Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston. We have won eleven national Design and Craftsman Awards for our projects.

Our experience in the marine industry and association with MFA has shown us that only the highest quality materials and workmanship will produce the desired end product. We use materials such as Sunbrella® acrylic canvas, Stamoid® vinyl coated polyester by Ferrari and Profilen™, a Teflon® thread

The EZ Frame software program and the EZ Frame Bending System is designed for other fabricators. It quickly allows them to design, calculate and bend the bows for ten types of marine boat tops more accurately and in much less time.
